When I became a full-time working adult, I discovered this thing hanging over my waistband that blocked my view of my toes–a fat gut. And I still had toothpick arms and legs.

I was skinny-fat.
I was so disgusted with myself.
I had never felt good about my body–but this–this felt like the last straw.
I had to do something.
I tried all the usual approaches–hours of boring cardio, starving myself, and going to the gym where I felt completely out of place and had no idea what I was doing. I just did what I saw other people doing (not realizing that those people mostly had no idea what they were doing but were doing it because they saw other people doing it).
After getting really frustrated and fed up with putting in so much effort with so little progress to show for it, I decided to learn from experts–people who help people get in shape for a living–what really works.
I bought a personal trainer certification manual and started studying it. As I applied what I was learning, I was FINALLY starting to see real progress!!!
I got to a place where, for the first time in my life, I felt good about my body and felt comfortable in my own skin.
It was such a powerful feeling!
I even had people coming up to me and asking me if I was a personal trainer. I would say, “No. Why?” And they would say that I “looked like one.”
After one of those conversations, a lightbulb went off. Getting to where I felt good about myself was such a powerful feeling–I decided I wanted to share that feeling and help other people on that same journey.
I became a personal trainer.
I started working in a big box gym. When I’d tell people where I worked, common responses I would get were:
“I need to get into shape to go to the gym."
“I have a gym membership that I am paying for, but I never go because I feel so out of place there.”
“I feel like I have no idea what I’m doing when I go to the gym, so I end up just walking on the treadmill.”

Not at all. Most of our clients start from scratch — we meet you exactly where you are and help you build from there.
You’ll never be left on your own here. Every session is private and guided by a professional personal trainer who designs everything for you, guides you step-by-step through each exercise, and ensures you are using good form to keep you safe.
Gyms make their money from selling memberships. They don't care if you show up to use your membership, and secretly prefer that you don't. They get paid either way. One of the big box gym chains that is common in the Lancaster, Pa area has an average of 6,500 members--per gym! There is no way all of those people could use the gym--and the gym chain is ok with that because they still get paid.
Gyms often offer cookie-cutter programs and group classes that don't always line up with your goals and needs, and specific challenges such as injuries and painful areas. You don't receive guidance on which exercises are the most effective for your goals and safe for you, and how to do them safely.

Nope. Our nutrition coaching focuses on balance — not deprivation

Yes! We offer both in-person and online coaching to fit your lifestyle.
Many clients feel more energy, endurance, and confidence within weeks — and visible results in 4-6 weeks.
We work with you on your schedule. Everything is by appointment, so we will find times that work for you. Your sessions can be scheduled at the same times every week, or change every week to fit your schedule. We’ve worked with doctors, nurses, firefighters, flight attendants and many other people who have varied schedules.
Online training is also an option, and offers the ultimate in convenience in being able to do your workouts whenever and wherever it fits your schedule.
